egt temps
The other day i got an injecter code and ford erased it and said nothing was wrong. my question is now my egts are about 450-500 idle and 800-900 at 65. Does this sound right? I have a 4" turbo back cat delete and an airraid intake. Im afraid to put my programmer back on till i find out if everythings ok. Idles fine just high egts, thanks

when you have the a/c on, your idle temps will be higher. mine idles anywhere between 300-450 depending. and at 65-70 i've seen anywhere from 650-1100 depending on the grade, downhill vs slight uphill etc... sometimes freeway crusing is 4psi, some times it's 10 psi..

The Rule of Thumb is 100*F for every 10 MPH.
SO YES YOUR EGT'S ARE HIGH.......! Get some one with an OBDII Port Diagnostic ScanTool For FORD Specific codes, You can run injector tests and also see if you can pull any other codes under full diagnostic testing, with your Exhaust you should not be seeeing EGT's That HIGH, Just my two cents........
