High idle mod

So I hear about a high idle mod, and am curious to know more about. What's the point? And any benefits? Thanks

I have read a few posts on here, it's a pto wire and hi idle is better for the trucks than the low idle and I believe it will also speed up the warm up time. I have not done it yet but will, do a search there is some good info on this ( not mine ) but good info.

It helps with preventing wet stacking and charging issues that occur with long idle times. It also helps warm the truck faster in cold weather.

i found out how to do it here. i use it when i run my tidy tank pump, inverter or microwave. there are two options, one is a pto wire and the other is a battery saver option. i opted for the battery saver.
