Cylinder Head Question

Ok so my heads are at the machine shop. I just got the call that they are not cracked, however the guides are worn badly. They need to be cut out, new guides and seals installed, new valve seats ground, valves ground and milled flat. The machine shop is wanting 884.92$ to do this. It comes with no warranty. Now I know that price isnt bad, but is it worth it? I have found online where I can buy remaned heads with ALL NEW components for $750 a side WITH a warranty. Opinions and any other info is greatly appreciated.

remanned heads are the same thing you're getting but they're remanned to someone elses standards. I'm getting mine re-machined because it's only going to cost me $1,000 in machining and I know everything that's getting done. I like the idea of being consulted on what's being done to ensure it's right rahtr than buying some that somone else deemed acceptable.

Not to mention, they're profiting of 1500 for the heads and machining which makes me question what was done and to what standard...
