Engine Mod Question

My truck was acting a little goofy a few days back. I took it to 4 different shops, and all said it seems like it has a chip in it. I bought this truck used, and there was no mention of anything be modded in the engine. Now that I think about it, the truck does drive alot faster and quicker than other 6.0's I've driven. Is there any way of finding out if theres something installed on this truck?

look under the dash above yur pedals

or look around the firewall on the driver side up close to the corner

not on a 6.0 if he has been reflashed there is noway to visually see it. the addition of a "juice" type module would be easy to spot in the wiring harness area by the driver side battery.

my bad thats what i was refering to, i know the banks boxes go under the hood, but my quad box is under the dash by the pedals

Could have a tune on it, but there is really no way of knowing unless you flash over it.
