Where to buy stuff

It's about that time. Need to maintain my truck. Will need oil, fuel, tranny, and air filters (am I missing anything?). Also tranny fluid and oil (prob from WalMart).

In two weeks I try the oil cooler. It needs to be replaced, but I might try the Restore flush first. Then I need ECL coolant and a bypass coolant filter. If that doesn't work, I'll just order an oil cooler and EGR cooler from BulletProofDiesel. Distilled water I'll pick up at the grocery.

Where does everyone go? I don't mind going to the dealership, but when I replaced my blower motor, I paid 50% more than what I could have got it for online.

I would get all of your filters and trans fluid from dieselfiltersonline.com. That way you only have to pay shipping to one place. The oil I would get at Walmart. Rotella T6 goes for $21.36 there if that's the oil you plan to run.

All of my work I had done at the dealer but it was for the most part under warranty. I'd recommend finding a reputable shop near you that knows the 6.0L well. If you can swing for the BPD oil cooler that's the best option. I didn't have the extra coin laying around for that kit when I had my truck worked on so I went with the semi-bullet proof kit from them.

you can do the oil, air, tranny fluids and filters all by yourself. xtremediesel.com and performanctruckproducts.com offer free shipping if you spend over a certain amount. I know with the fuel and oil filter combo from php it ships for free.

mobil 1 5w40 full syn for oil....from napa.
