Best and most inexpensive exhaust?

I have an 03 engine and want to get rid of my resonator, any suggestion to get my turbo volume up. Wanna keep the cat and muffler already gone. Would just buying a down pipe do the job? Or should I go to 4in pipe? I have read other threads but I am curious if a down pipe would do the job?

i am unsure of just the down pipe question, but i installed a 4" mbrp turbo back straight pipe on my 04 and love it. bought the entire system for 250$ 5" tip included, off of ebay. personally id do that and have a complete system instead of a collection of parts but thats up to you

shark howd you fit that 5in in there? my down pipe barely fit and it was also really close through the trans cross member and again at the rear shock(they nearly touch) maybe there is a difference in the 05 model that gives you more space? just curious

The Dp wasnt bad to get in at all..After all the reading I was expecting a real pita but it was easy. Its easier with 2 people installing it, one on top and one under the trk.

I just straight piped mine. 4" all the way. No cat or muff. eBay has really good prices, however I ended up going through buddy of mine that agreed to match the best price I found. I paid 275$(no tip) shipped to the house. Going order my tip today. Im leaning towards a 4-7 18" black tip.

I have a 5" diamond eye and love it. Mine has the 4" downpipe and cat delete with muffler. Its load enough for me and enough to set some car alarms off. Sounds like a fricken jet taking off.
