How high can you go safely with stock head bolts cat and egr deleted.

There are a number of member trucks running in the 400RWHP class of tuning under stock head bolts, and not having issues. Depending on how far you push that tune, that would be as far as I would be comfortable taking the programming without the installation of studs.
Safe is a relative term with those bolts, and in my opinion a tune is only going to accelerate their need for replacement. |
