ELC is $27.00 a gal. here and we have a huge drum of the final charge at work, so I could get it much cheaper. specs. phosphate -free, silicate- free, nitrite and borate-free, and it say's it meets Cat Ec1 specifications. Yup all that matters is that its EC-1. You got some luck.

Here is a list of ELC's that would work:
• CAT HD ELC • Fleetrite HD ELC (International's brand) • Rotella HD ELC • Prestone HD ELC • Zerex Extreme HD ELC |

There are a few missing from the list, and I still have not asked the boss yet, it is a 150 gallon barrel and one of the mechanics said it was almost 3k, so I may go with the delo chevron ELC, I know I can get it at almost cost thru work by having the operation manager order it for me, I'll find out tuesday when the boss comes back from pismo. Thanks again, Mike.

Well our final charge drum is 50/50, so I went ahead and bought ec1 rated zerex at napa $13.99 a gal. not bad. Thanks.
