Poor throttle response ?

Never owned a 6.0 or powerstroke for that matter of fact ,but was wondering whats normal for throttle response from a dead stop. what mine is doing is it is slow for about few seconds then it will take off and throw you back is this normal? by slow I mean it will go just by no means fast. I have a triple dog and it does it on stock and all the way up to extreme.

Yep, it is just turbo lag, the time it takes the turbo to spool up once you peg the throttle. You will get it moving quicker and with less smoke by rolling into the throttle easily than mashing it to the floor from a dead stop.

Watch out running a bully dog tune, they don't tune the transmission at all. I would recommend selling it and getting an sct with a custom tune. No joke!

I have been planning to get rid of it and go to a sct just for fuel mileage , I use it on performance just for the fuel economy not really as performance . Have heard from several that bullydog is rough on trannys.
