The following feedback is for the 4 Stage FICM by BPD. I have no affiliation with the company and will be giving real live feedback whether good or bad.
Here are some pictures to compare the OEM to the BPD one...
Now on to the review...
First off a little history of my OEM experiences:
My FICM voltage has never dropped below 48v on my OEM one. About a couple months ago I started having problems with my injectors (similar to stiction) I ran Rev-X through the oil and nothing happened. Last week I installed the upgraded Blue Fuel pressure spring and it inproved the power but did nothing for the injector problem. Then the next day I hooked up my fuel pressure gauge and noticed my fuel PSI was going down to 20

I decided to change to Motorcraft Fuel Filters (Was running Napa ones at the time) and the fuel pressure problem
went away, but STILL nothing inproved my injector problem so I figured my injectors were ruined
It ran like this up until it got up to atleast 150* Oil temp
Now, on to Last night and the installation of the BPD FICM.
I let my truck sit over Sun-Mon night to get a REALLY cold start without being plugged in (to test it to the limits of where my core problem was)
After installation the first start was instantly noticed because it wouldn't chug and "misfire" anymore (before on a cold start it would NOT like to start without being plugged in and if it was, it acted like it was running on two injectors!!!)
I figured... maybe it just idles better

Let's take it for a spin! Oil temp was 85* FYI
First thing I notice is with a
light foot when it gets up to around 1750 rpm the throttle gets extremely responsive!!! I ran Erics Extreme Street for a year and this responsiveness I have NEVER felt before

It just zooms through those gears THAT is it's sweet spot
So I Never do this but for the sake of the test I gave it a WOT run while it was only at 95*
NOTHING.... It feels the same as it does fully warmed up or like any other healthy 6oh but with MORE POWER

I quickly turned around and went to get my wife (because in the past couple weeks she has noticed the problem... SHE NEVER NOTICES ANYTHING with cars but she noticed the injector problem!!!
When she got in I reminded her of the injector problem and told her to find it again... We drove around and she said WOW it's gone, non-exsistent! And she felt it to be more powerful too... I was happy and mad at the same time. Happy the problem got fixed AND my wife noticed... BUT, mad because now I can't get 190's for a while (cuz I had her convinsed I needed injectors before

This morning, I started it cold again, felt the same power when cold, no injector problems again (I wasn't dreaming testerday

..) and noticed driving down the freeway to work the truck felt ALOT lighter... Felt seriously like a feather!!!
Now for the MPG claims I will be back later but just a heads up... My "lie-o-meter" was never more then .2-.5MPG off before... and it always read around 12 MPG.
Today It hovered around 14-15 MPG

Once again, I will be basing numbers off REAL DATA but just wanted to give a sneak preview of the MPG
Let me know if anybody has any questions
EDIT: (Note To Self) starting Mileage of test is 163,180
