Reverse Lights every now and then stop working?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew where the reverse switch was located...

Every now and then my reverse lights don't work and I'm assuming its just the switch that is activated when the truck is put into reverse...Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...

any ideas?

either a loose wire on the trans or body or internal switch is going out.

Thats what I figured...Based on the way its acting, is the internal switch located in the transmission or on the steering column?

normally the trans. i did a quick look and unable to locate it. ill have to look into it.
