You should take it to a different dealer to get checked out. Most will charge $100 to do a through inspection. They will let you know of any potential problems. A Carfax report is worthless. I almost bought a vehicle with a spotless Carfax, car was 2 years old. I took it to a dealer to get checked out. They printed out the service record and it had been in the shop over 30 times for electrical problems. They put it on the lift and they even showed me where it had been in a serious accident that required frame repair. None of those were on the Carfax. That $100 saved me 20 thousand.

Just be sure to take it to a Ford Dealer. They will have access to all of the REAL Service records.

Buy a scangauge 2. It will tell you if your
Deltas are ok between your coolant temp and oil temp. They should be less than 15* at 65 on flat. I run 6* to 10* on flat with 11000lbs gvw. I learned the hard way. Spend the 160 bucks and save yourself 1000nds in the long run. You will need the sg2 with any 6.0 but it can be used in any modern vehicle. Read the sticky too. Good luck.
