droppn the ball

well it sounds like ill be dropping the ball today on a 04 f550
ive been reading ALOT of threads here for the last 3-4 weeks about the 6.0 and the problems it has. had oasis done on it and it has had 2 egr coolors and oil coolers 1 headwork done under warranty
truck has 110k on it
i read a bunch of threads on what to look for ( dirty egr coolant loss etc) and everything on the truck looks good. i have snap on solis pro scanner ill be hooking up to it today to see if i can get temp readings before i finally hand over the cash.
anything else to look for

04 f550 6.0 looks all stock
and the best part of it... a vulcan 892 wrecker bed on back!

I just checked out a truck the other day. If you can read IPR % then it may help knowing if you're dealing with a high pressure oil leak. Good system at idle is in the 20th percentile somewhere. Check ficm voltage. After a minute or so of idling while its still technically cold try taking the degas cap off. Shouldn't be much pressure if any after such a short period.

Well good luck with the truck, and the good news is if you ever break down you got a wrecker handy. LOL JK - This site has answered a lot of question I didn't know and a few I didn't want to know
