Security Number under dash

My dealership gave me the wrong glove box pack. So my keyless number is not what my card says. The last time I had it in the shop they forgot to hook up the computer and dig it out.
I know its supposed to be hidden up behind the dash near the back of the radio. I can't find it. I really don't want to take it to the "stealership".
Can anyone give me any suggestions?

What year is the truck??? Mine is a 05 and its in there. It took me a while to get to it also. I got to mine thru the mini glove box under the upfitter switches. You open that and move out the insulation and get on your back and contort your way to see it. I had to be on my back and used flashlight to see in there. I am sure others will also give advise too. Best of luck man.

What he said above. Remove the compartment cover and contort yourself down there with a good flashlight. It's on a white sticker on a black box on the firewall. If you have an inspection mirror, it really helps.

If you keypad has ever been replaced then the code is diffeent. Only.way then is to replace it. They arnt too expencive though.
