Hello from GA

Hello from GA. My name is Serg and I am a forehead scratching owner of an 06 f-250 FX4 6.0 that just cant't part with even with all the headaches. Its not my first superduty, I used to have an 01 7.3 that had to go because I had more kids . So now I got back it to the game with a wht Fx4 crew cab . In the first month, I dropped a 5" turboback w/o cats,Gearhead SRL tune on it. I think thats all for now. She mighty powerful and quick now.I plan on doing all the durability mods as fast as my wallet can handle.

I, and a lot of others here, would suggest getting something to monitor your temps as well. Enjoy the truck!

Welcome to the Org!!!! Your first concern should/must me a monitor system. The 6.0 is a entirely different animal than the 7.3 when it comes to maintenance. When you neglect or skimp on maintenance, this animal will bite you right in the wallet.

Here is some reading material for you to get started. Read up as much as you can, because knowledge of the 6.0 will be your wallets best friend.

Things to consider about owning a 6.0L

Write Up: Bullet-Proofing the 6.0L PSD.
