Dose Evolution CTS keep you from smoking?

I know excessive smoking is a sore subject, but I don't even get a courtesy puff. I have a SCT hand held tuner with MKM Custom's tune, and an Edge Evolution CTS " for gages". Even my buddy that did my head gaskets hooked his computer up and opened the turbo veins wile driving and got nothing. Any thoughts?

There is no tuning involved with the CTS if its just used for gauges. What custom tune are you running from MKM? On the bright side you can brag about how clean and good your tuning is.

I'm not sure exactly, I'm having issues with the tuner, it says wrong vehicle when I plug it in now. I've talked with SCT tec. support and stumped them. I will probably haft to send it in to get re-flashed for $80. My friend that did my head gaskets said it was a mild tune, that I need to contact some one at Innovative Diesel for better tunes. The only reason I asked the original question is because I had an Edge Juice with Attitude, and I remember reading in here some where saying that tuner would not allow fuel to be dumped with out boost hence no smoke.

You're custom tune probably has fueling proportional to boost. Many tuners do this to keep it clean. Be happy you aren't that obnoxious jackass "rolling coal" on the highway, making other drivers angry at ALL diesel owners and causing emissions regulations to be increased beyond their current ridiculous level.

Seriously, I see some jackass blowing smoke and think, "what a loser...".

You still might want to figure out why your SCT is giving you that message

I will, it will probably haft to be sent back to SCT to get re-flashed. The truck is in paint right now so money is a little tight.
