Has anyone eles broken a flywheel?
I have been at the tranny shop alot recently trying to get this thing straight. The last time it went in the torque converter was pushed in and jammed. Well when I got it back it drove great until I put the custom tune on. Well I went on a road trip and the next day there was a decent size puddle of tranny fluid under the truck. Well I drove it home just cruising on the interstate and it came out of gear and wouldn't start back up(starter wasnt catching the flywheel). Had it towed 300miles home and it turns out my converter is jammed again and the flywheel is broken. Im running matts extreme tune. Is that tune to much for the flywheel? Should I get a stronger one or is the oem one fine? Also could there be another factor causing this that the tranny shop is missing? Im so sick of dealing with this, honestly I get the truck back and a week later its broke and back at tranny shop. Any advice would help alot, thanks. Oh and tranny shop is saying that the flywheel is flexing very bad causing the torque converter to jam
