First thing that is going to help, is to let us know what you've done to the truck?

Second, how are your driving habits?

Third, do you have a monitor system on the truck (like an Edge Insight CS/CTS or ScangaugeII)?

Stock, with 4.30's I managed 10-12 around town, stock height dually.

For modifications, the best thing I've done is get proper tuning (SCT), with an exhaust. But that route can't really be taken without some groundwork mods, the monitor being the first of them.

First step will be that monitor then. What size tires are you running with the leveling kit?

Once you have a good idea whats going on under the hood with the monitor, you'll be able to come up with a plan to get you some mileage gains. And correct the 6.0L's shortcomings.

13.5-14.5 around town for me get some gauges and then a tune, once the honeymoon period is over with your tune your mileage will increase

I have an 05 F350 DRW, CC 4x4, 430's, bone stock other than audio/video and an Edge Insight, and I average around 13.5 around town.

I've noticed the best gains running the highest HP tune I have, which nets me around 13-14 around town, and upto 16.5 on the interstate. Running Eric's X-Race from IDP. I get around .5-1mpg less with my Street file. You just have to drive it for economy with the gas pedal.

That's a great number for around town with 4.30's, I can manage that in the summer under stock programming, but never with winter fuel / warm ups.
