problem solved, disregard post...

trouble shooting my 2006 integrated trailer brake controller. To get an easy comparison, can somebody please, with truck running in park and no trailer connected, slide the manual slider to max and hold it (requires two people or locking vice grips to hold), then go to trailer plug on rear bumper and measure the voltage at the trailer brake wire (big blue wire).

Trying to troubleshoot, a new stock TBC is $350, and I dont really think mine is faulty

Thanks for any help.

Update: I think my batteries were just low after my truck had sat for a few weeks, once the batteries had a better charge, I am seeing 12+ at the bumper plug, so not the issue. I think the 7 wire plug on the trailer may be the weak link, very worn out and the metal tabs have recessed into the plastic a bit. will replace that and go from there.

thanks anyway guys, should of tested more before I posted.
