Tow/Haul Light Blinking

I'll start this off by saying I searched the forum, as well as google, and didn't get any super definite answers to my questions.

But as the title states, my Tow/Haul light is blinking in my truck. Started it up this morning and as i'm leaving my girlfriend's neighborhood the light starts blinking and the trans doesn't seem like it wants to find a gear and stumbles a bit. Finally it finds a gear and seems to be driving normal, but the light is still on. I get onto the long stretch of road before my house and i'm doing about 50 and the trans doesn't shift into overdrive. I get home and pull out my SCT and get codes

-P0766 Shift Solenoid Performance or Stuck
-P2703 Trans Friction Element 5 Apply Time Range/Perf

I cleared the codes and the light went away. took a very short drive and went WOT a couple times. Trans shifts fine, no light, and everything a-ok.

I've read that there is a good possibility that my trans has **** the bed, hopefully that's not the situation i find myself in. Also, i just started running looney tune from vivian about three weeks ago. Thanks for any help/suggestions guys.

My father in law had this happen on his 03 and it was a wiring harness in the transmission that went TU.
