TO Delete or Not Delete

Got the Scan Gauge II hook up and found that the Oil cooler is not a 100%. So goin to do the tear into the engine and do the ARP, etc. I am told by a repect diesel Dude put in the Bullet proof EGR cooler, On he Other hand I could weld it up and keep the heat out of the engine. I live in Calif. and could get by for awhile on the smog. Is there any plus to putting in a bullet proof cooler that will help my motor run better?

Not really to run any better but you could also just weld it up and bolt it all back together for a visual, lots of folks hve done similar things and never had an issue

Many people have experienced issues with cooling fan operation after an EGR system dellete - until they installed a tuner to proerly account for it in the engine control programs.
