Would you consider this truck
With the 6.0's varying rep it is hard to know if I should be looking at this truck or not. I am considering an 06/07 super duty, but honestly am scared by the 6.0 horror stories you hear and I am not sure how true they are.
Anyways, please check this out: 2007 Ford F350, $24,200 - Cars.com |

First of all, welcome to the ORG.
Hard to tell from just the information posted on the website. No historical information at all. You will need the Oasis Report, and run the VIN with Ford as well. Those two will give you everything that has been done to the truck, major repair wise, in most cases. Read the following threads, a ton of great information about the 6.0L, and know what you are looking for. Things to consider about owning a 6.0L Write Up: Bullet-Proofing the 6.0L PSD. I would also recommend getting an Edge Insight CS/CTS to take with you when you test drive these trucks, if you are curtain a 6.0L is the truck for you. |

Looks like a nice truck, low mileage and clean with extra goodies. Take it for a good test ride and check the coolant temp and oil temp delta once warmed up at 65mph. It looks like there is an Edge monitor so that should be easy. If the delta is under 10 degrees the oil cooler is in good shape. If it is between 10 and 15 it is on its way to being clogged and if over 15 it needs replacing. Also find out why the rear bumper is tweaked. Truck looks like it is well worth considering.

The one review of the dealership is not a good one, check everything you can and low ball them just because they are a dealer, I bought my 07 F350 4x4 dually lariat crew long bed with 59k on it over two years ago for 24k and the dealership wanted 29k.
