I found the how to thread on FTE. I understand the process just curious if anyone has ever done it on a 6.0 turbo? I am kicking around the idea of doing it.

Not exactly a rebuild but I've torn one apart to inspect and clean it and put it all back together. Are you looking at new everything or what?

Rookie questions...
What are the benefits of cleaning, rebuilding and replacing with new? Is a getting a rebuild kit and cleaning a turbo for $150 (or so) the same as buying a reman turbo? When does something like this need to be done? |
