Huge disappointment with Performance Machine & MFG

Well i wanted to post up on here to let everyone know the poor service i am getting with them. I ordered some head gaskets, injector O rings, turbo hardware and an intake manifold gasket set from them online on the 3-11 (Wednesday). I quickly got an email verifying my order. I was billed on 3-16 (Monday) but had still not gotten any shipping information so i ended up calling them on 3-18 (Wednesday) to ask if my order has been shipped yet because i didn't get an email with a tracking number. I was told by the person on the phone, who's name i dont remember, that for some reason they were waiting on a truck with OEM stuff to arrive. He said my stuff was in and that it would get sent out on thursday 3-19 and "the delivery would be expedited". Those were his exact words. He "guaranteed i would have them on Saturday to get my truck back together". Well saturday 3-21 came around and nothing showed up. Today i came home from work expecting a package for sure by today but i had nothing.... but what i did have was an email with a tracking number that just so happened not to work at all. I again called and i got ahold of a guy named Mikey that said he was just updating the shipping info but it got sent out on thursday because thats what i was told. He couldn't really figure out why my tracking number didn't work but he said he would call me back before the shop closed for the night at 7. A couple hours go by and i called them back at 6:55 a little irritated that i still didn't have a call with any answers. This time i talked to the Sales manager (also forgot his name). I told him how Mikey was to call me back with answers because my tracking number didn't work. He asked for my info and then quickly replied by telling me that the link he has works just fine.... so i go and click the link again from my email today and sure as hell it worked this time... and it said they just sent the stuff out today. The sales manager kept side stepping my questions and didn't answer a single one on why i was lied to and why this was taking so long. I told him i wanted a refund and he replied with "sure just send us the stuff back and we will refund your money". I told them to put a stop on the delivery and refund my money because i didn't want to do business with them. Of course i didn't get anywhere at that point with a refund.

I would really like it if Performance Machine & MFG would post up in here and defend themselves with their version of the story because theres always two versions to a story. I would like some explanation to.

Unfortunately I'm in on this as well. I love their products, but the extra headache is making me severely doubt I will do any more business with them. My story:
Ordered coolant kit and 3 extra filters on 3/31 (weekend).
Tracking number sent 4/05 status shipped on website.
One week later (4/11) tracking number still shows printed not sent, I call them. I'm told kits are not fully put together, were waiting on parts, will be put together and sent out tomorrow. Wait out the next weekend, UPS still shows not shipped. Call Tuesday (4/17) told it shipped out Monday and website must have not updated yet. Call UPS on 4/18, they state this is not possible that it has not been shipped out. Call back to PMM, he stated it actually was sent out today 4/18...check UPS and find that it finally shipped @ 7pm (2 hours after I got off the phone with them).

Get the package on Friday 4/20, everything looked great, until I realize they didn't ship me my extra 3 filters!!! Call them immediately and they are supposed to correct this, we'll see how it pans out. I should have known after it took over 2 months to get my core charge back on the FICM I bought in January...nice products and prices, sucks being told stories and feel like you have to beg for service

I had a bad experience as well with the exact same kind of crap...

i would like to add that the shipment was processed threw UPS at 6:30 which is an hour and a half after i called them today and they said it sent out last thursday.

I had no problems with them. Sorry that people are having problems it's too bad that businesses can't fix their in house issues.

Pretty much the same story with me also.. I ordered a sct that was suppose to be next day and didnt get it for 2 weeks. Also a long delay on another part that was suppose to be shipped but never was and it didnt make it in time for my build.. Oh well..

Thats a big pet peeve for me...I'm not sure what the deal is and if the false stories are intentional or just ill communication between sales and shipping, but either way it needs fixed. I've dropped the ball as a sales person before, and lying and making up a story is never the right way to treat a customer, honesty is always the best policy...

I hope this trend does not continue for them, they do have good quality products and could do well, but seeing as I'm not the only one going through this stuff tells me they will end up in a downward spiral if changes are not made quickly

I guess anyone considering buying things (even from site sponsors) would probably be well advised to do a search first. It is unfortunate for sure!
