P0611 code
I recently went to Kentucky lake towing a 19' bass boat. On the way there, my edge evolution started flashing red. Stop at next exit. Looked at codes. Found all 8 injectors left a low pressure code and this p0611 code. Cleared codes. Truck seemed to be running fine. All vital temps were normal. Stayed in ky for a week never seen the codes again. On the way home about 50 miles into the trip same thing happen. Again stop at next exit, ditto. Came on home. Now have not seen the code any more since I cleared it, but I'm getting grayish smoke after driving down the street and stopping at a light. It will just sit there and smoke the cars around me out. Take off get a fairly good size cloud of smoke, then it clears up no smoke as far as I can tell while going down the road. Have noticed a strong raw fuel smell. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Oh by the way 2006 f250 egr delete 4" straight pipe edge evolution just for monitoring and a sct tuner set on tow coolant filter. Thanks again

What does the EDGE say your FICM voltage is? if below 48v bad juju.
Replaced mine last year due to P0611 and injector codes, my voltage was running 35 on average till warmed up. It should read 47.5 to 48 during key on, crank, start, and run. Lot of info on FICM on the forum, do a search and you will find more than you want to know. Good luck. |

well the 611 i can tell you is the ficm code and thats not suppose to go lower than 46.5 volts at wot or you start doing damage to your injectors so thats probably what you got going on, i just sent mine off to ed at ficmrepair.com to get fixed
