A well deserved beer.
I just got done removing the heads from my truck. Took about ten hours by myself just taking my time. It wasn't hard at all, just time consuming. Id say the hardest part of it all was getting to a damn bolt on the Y pipe that was behind the head. My truck is a 2005 with 224K miles on her. I had black Onyx head gaskets that only lasted 10k miles then blew, so this time i went OEM. My turbo is being replaced also with a low mileage turbo, the exhaust wheel on my turbo now is starting to come apart and it destroying the vanes. Tomorrow the heads will go to get checked for cracks then resurfaced. I took a few pictures to share with yall while i was enjoying my beer. Thats my dog in the last picture who hung out with me all day outside.
