6.0 question difference from 350 to 550

Are there differences in the 6.0,s from a 2007 f 350 to the engine in a 550, same years? Thx

As far as the motors go, nothing that I am aware of. They may have different software strategies, though. Quite a bit different hardware wise with the frames and axles, but nothing I've come across with the 6.0L or 5R110 themselves.

What makes you ask?

no major reason just curious if engine was the same.

Engine is the same mechanically, I'm not sure on the electrics and software.
