Wheels bearings
Okay y'all I had to change ball joints today and when I pulled the hubs/wheel bearings off they where both pushing grease out the back side. So I am assuming they are on their way out, and while its apart I'd like to change them. My question is is there a better place or manufacturer other than Ford to get them from, because they want 585 bucks a piece for them. Mine are full manual. Truck in Sig.
Thanks Tyler |

Okay the factory ones have timken stamped in them, so i think those are the ones I am going with. I wouldn't worry about it to much but there was a puddle of oil laying in the knuckle when I removed the hub. So while I have it apart i might as well replace them. I was looking at rockauto.com and they sell Moog and raybestos option long with the timken bearing. They are more expensive and didn't know if it would be worth paying a little more.
Thanks for the reply |
