Hi all, new to forum, but have been reading for a while. Been with my 6.0 for over a year now and she's been good to me. She's my daily driver and tows some big boats without grunting! i believe in maintenance and preventative maintenance, so just I deleted the egr and replaced the oil cooler. Got all the info here on how to replace my oil cooler and egr delete, and knocked that job out last weekend. Man, what a great resource this site is! So, I've heard the 6.0 horror stories, but I believe with any machine, you can keep it together with proper maintenance. I don't have the money or time to head stud right now, but was looking at some cheap power packages. I know not to put a hot tune on it yet, but have been considering an Edge Evolution or an SCT tuner (at least to monitor stats, or reset engine light set by egr delete). Also an S&B Filter, and a MBRP muffler and cat delete 4" system. Looking for the best bang for the buck, just curious what works best for others, plus maybe any other simple mods I can do for preventive maintenance.

do the fuel pressure spring upgrade, install the fuel banjos from the 6.4, add oil and water bypass filters, run the cat elc coolant. When time permits get the latest TSB's from ford complied with if appropriate.

I run the hyper max econ tune on mine, had the top end stuff taken care of last summer and the tech that did it install all the latest changes to the engine that were out. mine is an 04.

Get a good monitoring solution like the Edge Insight CS or CTS installed instead of the intake. An SCT X3 with tunes from ant of the tuners. Just tell them you setup and they'll write you a tune that's safe for your truck.

Ah, yes forgot to mention, did get that regulator spring done, by Ford, just before the truck slipped out of warranty. Was planning on getting the coolant filters through the same company that I got the oil cooler and egr delete through, Performance Machine &Mfg. I think it was the one with the ball valves. What is a tsb?
