bpd egr cooler

I'm going to buy the bpd egr cooler, but can't spring for the full bullet proof now. So my question is has anyone ran the Ipr high flow internal oil cooler yet it cost's the same as the stock ford cooler, and I would be interested in some feed back on mating it up with the bpd egr cooler. Trust me if I wasn't moving in a few months and leaving my great job for a slower pace of life I would go full bpd. Thanks.

Go with the stock oil cooler if you can't spring for the BPD oil cooler. Don't go with the IPR cooler. Even though it does flow better, it won't properly cool the engine oil since the coolant isn't in the oil cooler long enough to absorb the heat.

What Shawn said. The IPR oil cooler is a pure POS and irresponsibly marketed to people who don't know any better. I highly recommend you stick with the stock oil cooler if you can't afford a BPD oil cooler.

Thank you both, who has the best price on the stock cooler, or should I just get the package from bpd so I get all the gaskets and o rings.

Best price is Tousley Ford, but you would need to get the parts list for all the other parts. BPD does offer a Semi-Bulletproof kit, which includes the BPD EGR cooler, the factory oil cooler and all gaskets.

Yeah I tried Tousley but there web site says oil cooler is discontinued, I saw 4 total items listed under oil cooler and they all said something other than oil cooler. I may be doing something wrong as I'm not the best computer user ( but I try ) my kids bought me how to navigate this box.

Give Tousley a call. They will be better able to assist you that way.
