Cut wires

I am new to owning a powerstroke and new to these forums. So i am not really sure were would be the correct place to post this. Just little over a week ago I purchase a 2006 f-250 with the 6.0l diesel after a few days it finally caught my eye the are some cut wires underneath the hood I have no clue what they go to
and i was hoping some one here could fill me in. The are red, black, blue, and white if you can not tell by the pictures i post.

Oh yea I forgot to mention the truck runs just fine no lights or anything. Just not sure were I should be concerned about it or not

My truck has those too. Its factory and I just assumed it was to do with trailer brakes because of the colors. I would like to know an official answer.

They are pass through wires. They have nothing to do with the brake controller. The other ends of them are behind your parking brake also blunt cut. They are to hook up auxiliary equipment without having to drill holes in the firewall for the wires.

Do a search on them, near the steering wheel there is a wire loom with the other ends wrapped up in it. Just as was posted, they are just pass through wires for you to use as you wish.
