What kind of mileage are you getting?
Just wanted to get a general idea of what kind of fuel mileage other 6.0s are getting. Mine is an 05 and I'm getting 13.8 city driving right now and about 14.5 highway.

Well I've seen some people post that they get somewhere between 16 and 20 mpgs and I was wondering how. Bigger exhausts are SUPPOSED to add 1-2 mpgs. When I put mine on my economy went from 13.6-13.8mpg. Not much better lol

nothing gives you 1-2 MPG but your right foot. Only issue is once you start drivng like a granny to get MPG, your turbo and EGR soot up and you start blowing stuff. Solution, run deletes or drive the 6.0 hard like you should and pay for the thirsty b!tch to drink... |

I beg to differ, exhausts did not seem to help much, but tunes and FICM tunes can help a lot, I see 12-14 in town, 16-20+ highway, 21 was the best highhway since the level kit and 35"s wind and foot control both have a huge impact on mpg. My v-10 excursion 4x4 on 285 ats got 14.5 on a recent 2000mile roundtrip from chicago to florida with 6 passengers and luggage, mostly set cruise on 70. My f-250 cc 6.0 gets 14 pulling 5000lb @ 70 runing canned hypertech max energy tunes (hand calculated) Chicago to Colorado last summer. I threw in the v-10 mpg because I know that a 6.0 will always beat a v-10 by 30% or more. I have traked my mpg since I bought my first 6.0 in 04, and found that my new stock 04(back in 04) on old full sulphur diesel did a little better than my current 04 did bone stock @44k miles on ultra low sulphur and running the Ford updated strategies, kleendiesel additive seemed to help mpg on the newer diesel fuel more than it did on the old stuff. Php FICM/PCM reflashes helped 1-2 mpg, tuners all helped if I could control myself. Most othe common mods seemed mpg neutral. lifts and larger tires cost mpgs more in town or over 70mph, not much towing between 60-70mph (5000lbs).

My truck is a 2006 F-250 ccsb 4x4 auto 265/70/17 mich ms-2. On the freeway best I get is 13 hand calculated at 75 mph. In town I get about 11 MPG. Front tires set at 76 psi rears at 80 psi. Truck always runs heavy 11,500 to 12,000 lbs at an altitude between 5,000 to 8,000 FT.

my 04 gets about 14-15 city and 18-20 highway. 22 was my best. That was goin 65 the whole way. I run 285's with a level kit and edge juice w/attitude.

My '04 stock exhaust, tune, wheels/tires, egr delete, gets 17-18 commuting to work, and has achieved 22 mpg cruising 500 miles empty. I also drive easy, mash it once in a while to exercise the turbo.
