Buying head gaskets

I went to buy head gaskets today from ford and they told me they dont sell just the head gaskets anymore , they only sell the kit with head bolts and stant pipes....... is this true??? or is the guy im talking to just a dumb ***?

Nope its true. There are some companies that will sell you just the OEM gaskets but still charge just as much as the dealer. Go to an International dealer, you can get the same kit for half the price.
