Just finished a egr delete and an oil cooler. Truck (05 f450) runs great. Has a different sound to it. Sounds like a lot of air moving-Not sure if it may be an exhaust leak. If you put your hand back by the top of the up pipe you feel a lot of air moving. Not sure if that is an exhaust leak or normal? Not sure how it could leak from there but I guess it could. Made 27 lb boost before work and 24 lb after.
Thanks Jack |

Check up pipe bolts and collector clamp. The new up pipe comes with gaskets and it could have an air leak if you may have forgotten to install those gaskets. Common problems on these up pipes are the collectors cracking. Which makes a high pitch whistle sound and will cause an air leak.

You shouldn't feel any air moving. Is the leak in the up pipe itself or at the collector at the turbo? If you can still hit 24lbs it's gotta be a darn small leak.

If you feel air, you have a leak. I recently did an EGR delete as well and I have an awful whistle from a leak in the flex part of the y pipe. You might be able to tighten the bolts or marman clamp to close the leak if it's at a connection.
