What are the symptoms of a bad EGR valve?

Truck was running great, I took the egr valve out and cleaned it now it has no power, boost and smokes until 2500 rpm. I'm running matts SRL and the truck ran great until i have the bright idea to clean the valve.

Is the tune written to turn egr codes off? Unless you have an egr delete probably not.
It's probably throwing a code which puts it into limp mode (I believe) but you can find many threads about it.

I cleaned the egr valve and put it back in. Sorry I edited my post to reflect that.

Did you use new gasket and o-rings? You might of ripped one of the o-rings when reinstalling the valve.
