Blue Smoke?

well as the title says, i am having blue smoke out the exhaust. the weird thing is that it only happens when taking off from a stop ( stoplight, stop sign). I have heard from people that it could be a turbo seal.

Turbo seal is a good bet. Does it go away / get better when everything is at operating temp? How much smoke? Does it ever smoke while idleing?

Easiest way to tell if it's a turbo seal is to disconnect the down pipe from the turbo and see if there is any gooey/burnt oil residue inside the pipe.

Yup, sounds like a turbo seal.
Do you have a CCM on it?
Is the turbo drain tube the Updated one?

I had very similar symptoms when my turbo seal was leaking.

Occasional smoke at idle when cold, quite a good puff when leaving from a stop when cold, disapeared after I was moving and when the truck was up to temp.

Check your down pipe.
