I use Rotella T-6 5-40 synthetic and REV-X and it seems to have cleared up my stiction issues. You need to also check your FICM to make sure you do not have a problem there.

Why is it that folks wait till they are experiencing stiction before deciding maybe it's a good idea to run synthetic motor oil? The information on stiction is all over the Net.

I also have the latest ford reflash. Could that have anything to do with it. Is anyone having any problems with the reflash? Also could the thermostat have anything to do with the way injectors fire? It takes a while for it to warm up just a thought...

In my case I did not really get into finding out what the problem was until the truck went out of warranty. I just let the dealership fix it until I was going to have to replace injectors out of pocket, then I got serious about finding a permanent solution.

5w-40 syn and Rev-x fixed mine way back when. I have also heard amazing things about Archoil. I will probably start running it as a preventative maintenance thing with my new injectors.

Had one injector go bad over 2 years ago. Been running hot shots secret ever since, no issues since, what so ever. Use valvoline premium blue 15 40 every time. Also they sell the hss at tractor supply now, so easier to get it now.
