Puking coolant...?

Well I had a new egr cooler and oil cooler put in my truck about 3 weeks ago under warranty and I'm still puking coolant. My question is could it be the sct tuner causing it to do it or is that just the HG or blown or are going? I talked to the dealership and they do stud jobs on the 6.0 all the time so they have no issue doing. So I can have them do a stud job with OEM HG I just have to pay for studs and the rest will all be under warranty. So tell me what you guys think. Just be gentle please

Especially jarrod and Eli

Try a new cap that goes on the plastic bypass bottle. I had new egr and cooler and kept blowing coolant out cap and dealer said no way could cap be bad. So I bought one for like &12.00 and problem solved. Obviously can't say it's your problem, but I went round and round with dealer and that fixed my problem.

Even if you dont have blown head gaskets and it is only the $12 degas cap, it would be worth it to get the studs done if all you have to do is buy the studs and labor is free. With labor the job runs about $4000. Studs only cost about $700. Just my opinion.

You could also use a pressure gauge and see what the pressure is doing in your coolant system.

But definitely do studs if the dealer is doing all the work for free

Yup, got arp's in 2008 for $405 to my door.

OP, get studs and new heads and drop it off at the dealer. Then you wont have to wonder, jmo.

How full are you filling the degas bottle. The min is the new max

I would drive the living p!ss out of the truck and make the headgaskets blow, just so I could get studs. I'd go so hardcore that I could crakc the heads and get new heads too!

Yeah...let them do the studs and HG under warranty and when it's all done, get yourself a new $12 cap!

Seems like a good deal if they're offering to do it.
