Not the usual tire question

I think I have figured out what tires I'm getting for the rear of my dually. I'm leaning toward the BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A.

I've run into 2 other tire questions. What to about the valve stems and where to get the tires put on.

May sound like a strange question but does one take their F350 to a regular tire shop or do we go to a truck shop? Is there an advantage of one over the other?

Now, the valve stems. I have the 17 inch wheels, aluminium outers, steel inners of course. I know the outer valve stems are bolt on, I can't see how the valves on the steel wheels attach. I'd like to replace the stems with ones that are easy to access. I haven't been able check the inners since I got the truck over a year ago. Does anyone make a 135 degree valve stem for the outer wheel? I can find extensions but have not read anything favorable about them. As for the inner wheel, can I get a long valve stem so I don't have to use an extension? I have seen several stems for the Ford 16 and 19 inch wheel but I haven't seen anything for the 17 inch wheel.

Thanks for the help

Fred

I don't care for any kind of extensions, so my stems are the standard straight ones. I use a dual inflator with gauge like this one.
