New (to me) Truck Possibility

I've already had a small side-discussion about engine inspection on this truck, but I'm looking for some overall impressions from those of you that have had these trucks for a while. How much do think something like this might be worth? Other thoughts/worries/concerns?

Truck:
2003 F-350 DRW CCLB Lariat 6.0L
~50,000 Miles
One Owner (completely clean CARFAX/MVDB)
Amsoil Synthetic in Diffs/Tranny
Magnaflow SS 4" Straight-Through (No Cats/Mufflers)
K&N Filter Charger
Werker Batteries
Bedliner/Aftermarket Stereo/Bedlocker/Other Odds & Ends
Interior is just about flawless

Engine:
No Smoke/Leaks
Good Power Development
Oil Changes Every ~3500
New Turbo @ 25,000 Miles (by Ford Dealership)
Never Tuned
Bolts (Not Studs)
EGR still attached
Oil/Fuel Stabilizers/Additives Every Change/Fill-Up
Unknown on Coolant Type

K&N Filter-- not well liked on most PSD forums the stock intake as good as they come good to 500hp.
Werker Batteries--will kill the FICM cost from Ford about $1100 or fix it, Ed is the man,FICM Repair.com - Your Source for FICM Repair My choice
Unknown on Coolant Type--Need to do a coolant flush but first install a coolant filter and install ELC coolant
Gauges-Gauges did i say, you need gauges
The rest on your list
Price is how well you like it, but it sounds like a good find.

I've heard the same about the filter kit. Didn't know about the batteries. Is here a recommendation for brand/type on those?

Don't know why those batteries would cause you any problems. Weaker batteries will though. Sounds like a good find. Flush the cooling system and get fresh coolant in it, preferably a CAT EC-1 rated ELC and then put a good monitoring solution on it like the Edge Insight CS or CTS.

SVT,

Coolant and monitoring are definitely at the top of the list if I end up getting this truck. It's sounding better and better all the time, but then I can convince myself of almost anything. The only issue I have is all the problems I've had with the 6.0L if my wife's '04 X. Just dropped the #7 injector yesterday (that's 5 injectors since last September). The FICM's fine ... guess fuel pressure is the next culprit. That's another thread, though.

Dun got it. Thanks for help and advice. I now have two vehicles with 6.0L engines in 'em and they seem to be running great. I'm sure I'll be here for quite some time.
