Story and a question

So I was traveling to visit my parents yesterday (all interstate driving) and was behind a cummins with stacks and big "C" stickers on the back windows, incase I didn't see the stacks and badge. Traffic was very heavy and I never had a chance to pass him but he blew smoke every single chance he had...yea that guy. Well I had to exit that route and jumped on another and from the exit ramp was behind another cummins. This time I did have the chance to pass eventually but he also jumped out and blasted smoke. I layed back and waited for my opportunity and it finally happened. I was able to pull up beside him, looked at him and pulled in front. Dude then pulled out behind me and tried to keep up...key word, tried! I walked him away and hardly blew much smoke...that made me happy to showthat kind of power without the cloud. He didn't try to stay with me after that.

This story leads me to a question...I've noticed while driving a tuned engine cruise control seems different. Does cruise control cause any issues on a tuned engine? I've noticed this before but never asked. Thanks and happy bunny day!

how does it seem different? i just threw in some of matts tunes and hopped on the interstate and was doin 75-80 and it seemed like it was running just the same as always

shouldnt i drive about 140 miles interstate every day the only thing that haveing a tune truck on cruiise dose is that when going up grades and hills it dosent down shift it will stay in 6th and just climb right along and ive went up some steep grades running 65 70 and never once did it down shift
