normal EGT's.
I drive a 2006 4x4 cc duelly pulling a 40" Loadtrail triple axle lowboy. Scales say truck, and trailer weigh 16480 lbs. When loaded with 2 trucks my egt at 2000 rpms runs between 850, and 1000 degrees. This with a SCT tune of 65hp towing. Believe it , or not stock egts are even higher.
Am I in a safe zone, or is that too high? |

You are fine with those EGT's. You don't want to run it over 1200* for sustained periods. Briefly exceeding 1200* will not hurt things.
