SCT tuner

I have an STC tuner with a canned tune loaded on my truck. Just bought the custom SRL tunes. Do i have to return to stock before loading the SRL tune? Thanks for the help

It's recommended whenever you go to upload new tunes from your PC to the SCT device to return to stock just in case.

On a side note:: I have loaded tunes from my PC to SCT without returning to stock, but that is just a chance I take.

If you haven't done it already, Just be sure to save a copy of your stock file to your PC. So if you ever have issues with corrupting/losing the stock file on the SCT, you will at least be able to recover the stock file.
