Is 100hp to much for a stocker?

I found a SCT tuner on ebay from MKM diesel, it comes with custom tunes already on it, i was just curiouse if mkm does good tunes and if my bone stock truck can handle the 100hp tune. i know that b4 i run that much i need to get gauges first i was just curiouse if thats to much added power without having upgraded head studs.
