Need help getting front cover Off crank!!

I am trying to get the gear off of the crank so that the front cover will come off??? It seems as if it should slide off the front of crank but catches on the very front part of the crank
Any help would be great!! Thank you!

I think your catching on the crank seal sleeve. This being the case your gonna need something to get that sleeve off the crank before the front cover comes off. Special tool prob...dont know the number but, id check OTC they seem to have about everything
