EGR delete/oil cooler replacement question

So this weekend I'm doing the egr delete/oil cooler/coolant filter thing on my 06 this weekend and I have one question.

How much oil am I going to lose during the oil cooler replacement? I'm probably midway between oil changes right now and money is super tight currently. If I only need another 4L of oil I'd rather just buy one jug instead of 3.

Thanks

I did a full oil change when I did mine a couple weeks ago. I would suggest the same for you. When you pull the oil cooler out of there the hole will be filled with about 9/10th of a quart of oil. So you will need clean that hole out and fill it back up with clean oil before you put the new cooler back in there. Be very careful not to drop anything down in the hole that screen is covering.
