Something wrong with your coolers. I drive 100mph and mine at not that high. My ECT has never seen over 210 and that was towing a 5th wheel in the mountains of Colorado.

I believe I have a plugged oil cooler because I've been seeing oil temps as high as 232* while towing. My ECT stays perfect at 188*-190*. These temps are with an EGR delete.

Yea my fan kicked on. I towed it stock, camper weighed 8k, and only reason doin 75 was staying behind my friend, I was following him home. I slowed to 70 and it did great. When I saw eot of 230 I was pulling about a 1/2 mile hill. The next hill I let my truck do the work instead of making it downshift and eot stayed at 208-212

Its strange how differant trucks handle towing/driving styles so differantly. When I used my '06 to drag an enclosed 16'er with 3 Harleys, 6 people and luggage for all of us, I set the cruise control at just about 80. Truck loved it, that was the only way the trans wouldnt 'hunt' for a gear.
