6.0 Engine Compartment Pictures

I finally had time to clean my engine today after work. I used Purple Power, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinsed it off at the car wash. It's still not the way I want it but much better than before. This is at 140,000 miles. Feel free to upload pictures of your own on this thread or give advice. I'm looking to really dress mine up under the hood at low cost.

Looks good to me, except that yellow junk in your degas bottle :

I cleaned mine before the winter hit. I'll do it again this spring. I also use purple power. That stuff works great!

I do see something else missing LDH. A coolant filter!

When y'all spray the engine down, do you avoid certain things or do you soak everything? Also engine running while doing this or off?

Use WD-40 and a rag to wipe it down. It also leaves a nice shine and gets the rag black.

This is dirty for me!

So does anyone know why they have that shroud over the turbo? I have no clue why it is there.

To route the wires around the hot turbo so they don't melt.
