Problem with gauges.

Ok, I was moving some 2x4's in my excursion.
My 5 year old wanted to help and next thing i know, there is a 2x4 where the gauges are supposed to be.
It broke the clear plastic over the gauges, although it looks like everything is still working.
So...I started looking for new gauges on carparts dot com.
Found some that matched my mileage.

Question... After I install the new gauges, do I have to bring it to the dealer for a re-program or something ? If so, why ?

when I swapped my gauges on my 2002 GT mustang I had to re set the computer with my tuner. It sets of the PAS system and the car wouldnt start
