Bulletproof diesel. It will set you back a little but is the best thing out there as far as oil cooling for these trucks.

I am running the BulletProof oil cooler and while it is expensive, you will never have to deal with the factory oil cooler failures again. The fit and finish of this thing proves how well built and designed this system is for our trucks. Oh and I definitely put it through its paces towing a 12k lb toy hauler up some decent grades in the Arizona summertime. It works well and is an excellent upgrade!

What he says. I got the BP one, works great and a great company to deal with.

I agree with all of these guys. I also have the BPD oil cooler, and it is the only aftermarket one worth buying IMO. The other aftermarket ones do not perform well.

BP also gives you a real oil filter and another 4 quarts of oil, all good things.

I am definitely going to bite the bullet if mine craps out again. Have halls oil temps looked any better with it or is there a significant difference other then no failure.

No, the temps are roughly the same whether running the factory oil cooler or the BPD oil cooler. The biggest improvement is the "no failure" aspect of the BPD setup.
